Two-man delivery operator Arrow XL has launched its complete logistics service, covering all aspects of goods movement from unloading products from containers and delivering them to households.

The firm, which was formerly known as Yodel XL before it unveiled its new identity earlier this year, will offer goods movement from container ports, storage and  product assembly when delivering to a consumer’s home without the need for third parties.

Retailers will be given the opportunity to store their goods at its new 500,000 ft² warehouse in Wigan at no fixed cost, which  Arrow XL's head of proposition Jan Walsh told MotorTransport.co.uk “takes the burden of managing products away” from customers.

Walsh added that the company plans to roll-out a 48-hour delivery service later this year, with hopes to develop a 24-hour service in the future.

Since the rebrand it has introduced its 'Pride' training programme to its workforce to encourage drivers to deliver a good service when delivering and assembling products in customers’ homes.
