Simarco has been granted authorised economic operator (AEO) status, after seeing an increase in import and export volumes this year. The accreditation is awarded by HMRC to companies with trusted security operations, allowing goods to be moved quickly and more efficiently through customs. Vosa has unveiled plans to cut the fees charged to authorised testing facilities (ATFs) for vehicle tests, while raising those that apply at its own test stations. The move is intended to apportion costs more fairly between vehicle operators using the two different test routes.
