Aberdeen transport and logistics provider ARR Craib has taken delivery of 15 new Iveco Stralis 6x2s and 45 SDC triaxle curtainsided and platform skeletal trailers in a long-term rental deal with Ryder.
ARR Craib MD Eddie Anderson said the use of long-term rental enabled the company, which operates more than 250 vehicles and 500 trailers, “to respond appropriately to the peaks and troughs of the business.”
“Capital investment will always be part of our business process but our leases with Ryder are an important part of our business model,” he added.
The 450hp Stralis units and trailers will be used in 44-tonne GVW combinations on contracts for a number of blue-chip clients.
