London City Bond wins Burridges of Arlington St contract

London City Bond has won a three-year contract with wine supplier Burridges of Arlington St, which will cover distribution across the UK.

The contract will be run out of the drinks distributor’s 270,000ft² warehouse in Barking, which is located close to the City and the West End, as well as the motorway network.

It won the contract after the Spanish wine supplier switched from another logistics provider.

LCB managing director Alf Allington said: “We are truly delighted that Burridges of Arlington St has joined us. I always consider that one of our strengths is that we are in tune with the independent wine merchant and listen to, and understand, their business.
