Freight industry must not be ‘thrown to the wolves’ if government fails to deliver viable customs system
The road freight industry is in danger of being “thrown to the wolves” if the government fails to install a competent customs system in time for Brexit, the FTA warned this week.
The FTA has slammed the government for breaking its vow to improve and expand the number of toilet facilities for HGV drivers on the national road network.
Backload rates are so bad that some operators are wondering if they’re worth taking. Is the era of backloads coming to an end?
