Ivybridge, Devon-based Kay Transport has bought King Stag (Transport). The deal, completed on the 12 April, sees the Pallet Track member, which is based in Stalbridge, Dorset, snapped up by the West Country haulier, which is a Palletways member. FTS Group has strengthened its senior management team with two senior appointments.
Ripon-based Potter Group Logistics has bought York logistics firm and Palletline member House of James for an undisclosed sum. The deal, struck yesterday (16 May) boosts Potter’s turnover by 50% to £22m, adding 100,000ft² of warehousing space, 35 vehicles and 55 trailers to the fleet.
