Leightons Opticians signs up to TNT Post optometry delivery service

TNT Post has won a contract with Leightons Opticians to coincide with the launch of its optometry delivery service, TNT Optical Solutions.

The service will see the firm deliver optical lenses and frames, business documentation and medical specimens to opticians across the country. It will also offer specialist advice to the industry to ensure that products are delivered economically and efficiently.

Leightons Opticians, which has 27 owned branches and eight franchises across southern England, was the first company to sign up to the new service.

TNT Post UK director of transport solutions Dean Hulse said: “We are excited to be joining forces with Leightons Opticians and hope to develop relationships and partnerships with other companies in this industry.”
