Container specialist Pentalver has relocated to a new, larger site at the Port of Tilbury as it expands its empty container storage service.

The 8.5 acre depot, titled ’45 Berth’, is the sole provider of empty container storage on the perimeter road side of the Essex port. It has increased capacity for cargo handling, 40 reefer points and a fully automated booking system.

Perry Glading, chief operating officer at Port of Tilbury owners Firth Ports, said: “We are delighted that Pentalver have extended their partnership with the Port of Tilbury. Their innovative supply chain solutions will continue to add real value to our customers.”

Chris Lawrenson MD at Pentalver, said that the new location provided a better infrastructure and quicker access routes.
