Supply chain managers at the Post Office have voiced their discontent over a pay deal that would have seen them awarded an unconsolidated lump sum averaging 2.5% a year for two years. A strike by drivers and warehouse staff at the Motherwell site of logistics giant XPO Logistics (formerly Norbert Dentressangle) has been suspended after last-minute negotiations between the company and union Unite.
Moran Logistics has been served a notice of potential industrial action, after the transfer of 100 drivers into its employment from Arla Foods yesterday (8 March), according to union Unite.
