Egg supplier Noble Foods has taken delivery of 29 new 13.6m temperature-controlled trailers from manufacturer Gray & Adams.
Noble Food's Eggs For Soldiers brand supports army charity Help for Heroes by making a 15p donation for every box of eggs sold.
The new units join Noble’s 200-strong trailer fleet and will be pulled by its 50 dual-fuel Daf XF tractive units.
All the new trailers use Thermo King SLX-200 fridges and sport Gray & Adams’ Eco-Aer modifications to reduce drag.
Modifications include wide-radius top cappings, tapered side skirts and a vortex generator in the rear of the roof to delay air flow separation behind the trailer.
