Tata Chemicals has extended its contract with Seafield Logistics to include worldwide deliveries.

Seafield Logistics, which already provides the distribution and warehousing of bagged and bulk products across the UK and Europe, will continue to do so for another three years following the renewal of its original deal.

It will continue to run the UK and Europe operation out of its hub in Winsford, Cheshire, making use of more than 100 subcontractors. Deliveries to the rest of the world will be handled by Agility Logistics.

The contract services extension has created around 40 jobs, including drivers, at the Winsford site, the company said.

Seafield Logistics MD Mark Strongadded: “We are delighted to be enjoying such an opportunity to demonstrate our capabilities as a 4PL provider managing a wide range of logistic elements.”

Tropicana recently renewed and extended its contract with Seafield logistics to include stock movement between Paris and Haverhill, Cambridgeshire.
