DHL started work this week (Monday 4 March) on its three-year deal to handle aviation fuel movements for BP in Scotland. DHL will take over distribution of fuel from BP’s Grangemouth refinery to airports in Scotland and northern England. DHL Supply Chain staff belonging to the Unite union have voted in favour of industrial action at some of customer Jaguar Land Rover’s sites, after rejecting a pay offer.
DHL is “disappointed” that warehouse workers at its Thurrock site have voted to strike on 5 June in a dispute over pay and employment conditions.
