Suttons Groups’ UK tanker division has won a contract with Total UK for the distribution of petroleum products following a competitive tender. Ceva Logistics has won a five-year contract to provide a two-man home delivery service for bed manufacturer Silentnight Group. Under the deal, Ceva’s specialist home delivery unit, Ceva Home, will make over 70,000 deliveries a year, collecting mattresses and divan bases from two manufacturing sites in Lancashire and Cumbria and delivering direct to customers six days a week on behalf of national retailers.
