Bibby Distribution has switched to Bandvulc for the supply and management of new and retread tyres across its fleet.

John Finn, Bibby head of fleet and procurement, said: "Previously, due to our diverse fleet of vehicles and trailers, we have had various tyre supply agreements which we have had to manage.  Involving Bandvulc Tyre Contracts gave us a ‘one stop shop’, which allows us to concentrate on our core activity.  The selection of BTC was determined on their ability to supply accurate management data from which we are able to manage and improve our operations – signs to date indicate that this is being achieved and it is a refreshing change from previous arrangements that we have been involved in.”

Philip West, commercial director for the Bandvulc Group, added: “The process we have adopted with Bibby Distribution is a first for us and enables us to test ourselves and build a platform from which to develop new innovative services.  We are already a few months into the agreement and so far, so good.”
