Lancashire-based Yearsley Group has unveiled its refreshed livery on 30 new Mercedes-Benz Actros trucks. The chilled distribution specialist has replaced older vehicles as well as increasing its overall fleet size with the purchase of the Actros 2545 SteamSpace tractor units. It has also taken a delivery of 300 new refrigerated Gray & Adams trailers, including five double-deckers. Potter Group Logistics unveiled its new livery today (1 January) and has also changed its name to Potter Logistics. The refreshed image, which has retained its signature yellow colour, will be featured on its signs, uniforms, website and marketing materials, as well as 20 new trucks and trailers which will be added to its fleet tomorrow (2 January). Stefan Buchner has been in charge of Mercedes-Benz Trucks since January 2013, taking over just 12 months before the introduction of Euro-6 – arguably the most significant change in emissions standards since the introduction of Euro-3 in 2006. Buchner has been with Daimler for almost 30 years, the first 20 in cars the last 10 in trucks, but until recently always working in procurement or production.
