Hermes has invested in 100 new vehicles as part of a fleet replacement programme, which will also assist it with additional parcel volumes. Nightline is to invest €5m into the roll-out of its self-service parcel terminals across the UK, creating 50 jobs in the process. The Irish carrier says the funding will be used to set up the infrastructure for 400 Parcel Motel locker boxes that will all be operation by the end of 2014.
