Former Scarlet Couriers founder Jon Barber has launched a new logistics firm after the Thames Valley courier company was sold to CitySprint earlier this year.

The new firm, called 'Delivered', will provide nationwide  parcel and pallet delivery as well as international delivery and warehousing from its depots in Slough, Reading and High Wycombe. Delivered already provides services to the likes of Nintendo, LG, Fiat, Lego and Panasonic.

Delivered will continue the overnight parcel and pallet services previously carried out by Scarlet Couriers, which was sold to CitySprint in June, taking on the Thames Valley and Chilterns area for TPN and APC Overnight.

Managing director Jon Barber said: “Launching a new company during these challenging economic times is exciting. We are fortunate to be building on the 30 years of success we had with Scarlet Couriers in providing the best possible full service parcel and pallet delivery service to Thames Valley businesses.

"For the customers we already service , the transition to the Delivered brand will be seamless and for new clients, they’ll soon experience and benefit from our customer-centric approach,” he added.
