Meachers Global Logistics has made its biggest investment in LGVs this year, after it splashed out £1.25m on 16 new Mercedes-Benz tractors. The modernisation programme will see the company taking delivery of the Mercedes Actros trucks in the months leading up to Christmas. They will operate out of Meachers’ headquarters in Nursling, Southampton and also its Derby depot, undertaking general haulage work throughout the UK.
