West Bromwich-based Sheldon Clayton Group has acquired the Wednesbury, West Midlands operation of Manchester warehousing and transport firm CFT Services for an undisclosed sum. The move will see all 30 staff at CFT’s Wednesbury operation move to Sheldon Clayton’s 12-acre, West Bromwich site. JSC Russian Railways (RZD), is in talks to buy 75% of Gefco, the logistics arm of cash-strapped car maker PSA Peugeot Citroën for €800m (£640m).
