CollectPlus

CollectPlus has signed up its 5,000th store to its parcel delivery and returns network.

It means the network of local convenience stores offering the CollectPlus service has grown by nearly 1,000 in the last year, with its latest addition in Brentwood, Essex.

Parcel volumes through the network have leapt 250% in the past year.

Mark Lewis, chief executive of CollectPlus, said: “Our continual focus on the expansion of our network of stores, through which people can drop off and pick up parcels, helps retailers have a greater number of physical touch points with their customers.”

The firm reported that it is now processing parcels at a run rate of seven million per year. It recently won a contract with Amazon to provide a ‘click and collect’ service across its network of stores.

Last week, TNT Post revealed that it would provide an international delivery service for CollectPlus.
