Hellmann Worldwide Logistics UK has launched a daily shuttle system servicing the UK and Belgium with one of the country’s logistics providers H. Essers.
It said the partnership links Belgium and the industrial regions of the UK with a 48-hour door-to-door service.
Hellmann added that the agreement reflected its commitment to consolidating and improving its European services.
“H. Essers is one of the most renowned and respected logistics providers in Europe and has a similar background to Hellmann due to being a family run business – we are delighted to have announced this partnership,” said Matthew Marriott, Hellmann UK commercial director.
The partnership follows similar announcements by Hellmann to link up with Diehl Spedition in Stuttgart and Itella Logistics in Scandanavia.
