Norbert Dentressangle has won a warehousing and distribution contract with Villa Soft Drinks. The deal involves ND making daily collections from Villa’s Bradford headquarters, with products stored at Norbert’s Wakefield site in advance of distribution. ND will provide a mix of dedicated services while some loads will be integrated into its shared-user network. Villa manufactures a range of branded bottled water, juice, carbonated drinks, including major brands Hadrian Spring Waters, Fruit Jet and Bolt Energy Drink.
Underlay and flooring accessory manufacturer Interfloor has outsourced its transport to Norbert Dentressangle, in a three-year multi-million pound deal. The operation involves more than 100 outbound movements from Interfloor’s production sites in Haslingden, Lancashire and Scotland’s Dumfries. ND will use a new fleet of 19 artics with cutainside-trailers and 11 (18-tonne) rigids to handle the outbound movements. It will also make more than 500 customer deliveries a week. Norbert Dentressangle has won a three year contract renewal with cooking equipment manufacturers Hobart UK, worth over £1m. The deal will see ND deliver cooking equipment, washers and food preparation machines to restaurants, supermarkets, professional kitchens and shops, including Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Nando’s. “After another successful three years, with ND delivering an excellent service, I was happy to renew the contract for a further three year period,” says David Riley, director of warewash at Hobart UK.
