DSV Road has signed up to the Green Freight Europe initiative, as part of its commitment to minimising its environmental impact. Green Freight Europe is voluntary programme promoting cooperation between transport companies and their customers. DSV has confirmed that has integrated its entertainment logistics division into its Air & Sea division just two years after it was launched. The multi-modal giant launched DSV Entertainment Logistics in 2010. Wincanton has extended its relationship with B&Q, in a deal that sees it handling inbound container logistics as well as planning deliveries across the DIY chain’s national network. The operator, which has managed B&Q’s horticulture distribution for several years, became its sole UK ports-to-distribution centre provider earlier this year.
