Campaign group Freight on Rail has called the findings of recent research into longer heavier vehicles (LHVs) by the University of Huddersfield into question. Construction products manufacturer British Gypsum has entered into a new contract with DHL for the distribution of plaster products from its site at Barrow upon Soar, Leicestershire. DHL will transport all deliveries from the site to customers across the UK, handling up to 130 full loads a day.
