Hermes has won a five-year contract extension with plus-size women’s clothing firm JD Williams, for handling UK and cross-border home deliveries. The extended deal, which will run until 2017, will see the parcels firm handling more than 15 million items per year for JD Williams’ 32 brands. Hermes has appointed two new board members to help support its plans for growth in the home delivery market. Ex-Parcelforce board member Gary Winter has joined the company as sales and marketing director, along with Jane Naumkin as human resources director.
