Wincanton signs £30m deal with AvantiGas

LPG supplier AvantiGas has extended its partnership with Wincanton, extending its contract by five years in a £30m deal.

Wincanton runs a 40-vehicle fleet, from seven sites across the UK for AvantiGas, distributing LPG to commercial and domestic consumers. Driver numbers ranging from 56 during peak winter months to between 30 and 40 during the summer.

Chris Kingshott, MD, manufacturing, at Wincanton, says  the redeployment of assets and drivers to other Wincanton contracts with seasonal demands ensures that AvantiGas distribution would be “fully optimised”.
