Arc de Triomphe

Norbert Dentressangle (ND) has extended its contract with Tour de France organiser Amaury Sport Organisation to remain the event’s official transport provider until 2018.

The logistics firm has handled the transportation of equipment needed for the race for the past 30 years, including materials for the ‘Start’ and ‘Finish’ villages such as security banners, the podium and the timekeeping unit.

For this year’s 99th Tour de France, culminating in an historic win for British cyclist Bradley Wiggins, a dedicated fleet of 36 ND vehicles and 50 drivers accompanied the riders from the start in Liege in Belgium to the famous finish line on the Champs Elysee in Paris, taking in 20 stages and covering 3,497km.
