Pentalver has warned there could be casualties in the container haulage market in the second half of the year as the sector struggles with low volumes. Roadways Container Logistics has returned to profit despite a fall in turnover and a warning that rates in the market remain depressed. For the year ended 31 December 2011, Roadways achieved a pre-tax profit of £319,000, compared with a pre-tax loss of £697,000 in the previous year.
