Pall-Ex is to extend its Iberian network’s coverage to include the Canary Islands.
Pall-Ex Iberia, which is celebrating its first anniversary, operates across Spain, Portugal and the Balearic Islands from a hub in Madrid.
It has 33 haulier members and in its first year handled over 100,000 pallets.
Enric Estruch, MD of Pall-Ex Iberia, says: "We are now in a position to start operating in the Canary Islands, which opens up a host of further possibilities for us.”
Last month Pall-Ex revealed it had signed its fourth European partner, in a move that should see the launch of Pall-Ex France by the year’s end.
The network is looking to sign national partners in Germany, Scandinavia and Turkey.
