UK-registered goods vehicles’ share of the international road freight market has fallen to a fresh low of just 13%, new figures from the DfT have shown.
DPD is to deploy and additional 200 staff and open an extra London depot to minimise disruption resulting from the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. UPS has completed its final delivery to the International Broadcast Centre (IBC) and Main Press Centre (MPC) at the Olympic Park. As a result the equipment for 21,000 media representatives is now all delivered, set up and in place for the start of the Games.
