Norbert Dentressangle (ND) has won a £100m, five-year deal with electrical retailer Comet to handle its UK warehousing and distribution. The contract involves ND managing store picking, dispatch and returns management at Comet’s RDCs in Skelmersdale, Lancs and Harlow, Essex. It will also bulk pick product for trans-shipment into Comet’s network of 12 home-delivery platforms. Norbert Dentressangle has signed a four-year contract with the Highways Agency to store and distribute emergency salt for Britain’s roads. The firm is one of five companies responsible for procuring, storing and distributing road salt to the Highways Agency’s service providers across the country. The contract runs until 2016 and builds on ND’s existing relationship with the Highways Agency.
