Clipper Logistics has won a new contract with Swedish children’s clothes retailer Polarn O. Pyret. It sees Clipper provide logistics from its Ollerton facility, as well as a warehousing arrangement that will allow expansion of Polarn’s current product range and offer store replenishment it its second phase, reducing the lead time of stock from Sweden. With 23 DCs around the UK and a fleet of nearly 1,000 vehicles, Asda likes to keep control of its store deliveries while working closely with its third party carriers on international and primary movements.
Asda has chosen Bandvulc for a new long-term agreement that will see the retread specialist manage the retailer’s tyre supply for its HGV and Dot.com fleets.
