everywoman-trophies

The UK’s brightest female talent within road transport have been whittled down to a select few ahead of next month’s fifth MAN Everywoman in Transport and Logistics Awards.

“Yet again, we are bowled over by the quality of our finalists and hope they show others what fantastic opportunities there are for women looking for a varied and challenging career,” says Maxine Benson, co-founder of Everywoman.

Taking place at The Savoy Hotel in London on 17 May, the awards aim to highlight the diverse career opportunities available in our industry and raise awareness of the number of talented females excelling in what has long been perceived a male-dominated sector.

Des Evans, chief executive of MAN Truck and Bus UK, adds: “Once again it’s a great pleasure for MAN to be sponsoring the Everywoman in Transport and Logistics Awards. If the high standard of the previous years’ nominees and winners are anything to go by these awards are proof to all the women working within this sector of what can be achieved. Good luck to all this years entrants in their chosen category.”
