Skills minister to present Apprenticeship Award

John Hayes, the minister for further education, skills and lifelong learning responsible for apprentice training, is expected to present the first Apprenticehsip of the Year award at the Motor Transport Awards on 13 June. This is a new category introduced to recognise and encourage appreantice training by road transport operators. Kuehne + Nagel (K+N) is to invest £5m in multi-temperature distribution centres and a fleet of 60 vehicles for a long term new food service customer, Spirit Pub Company.
