Construction work on the Co-operative Group’s new £20m RDC in Avonmouth has been completed. Developers Gallan Group and Stoford have handed over the keys to the site at Cabot Park on Poplar Way to the supermarket chain. Deliveries into the RDC will begin this month, building up to full operation in May 2013 when the fitting out and stocking of the site will be complete. The United Road Transport Union (URTU) men at the centre of a probe into Driver CPC training activities have had their bail extended yet again. The seven men include general secretary Bob Monks, national officer Mel Thornton and regional officers Lee Pimbley and Mike Billingham.
