DSV seals deal with ATS Euromaster

DSV has awarded a three-year contract to ATS Euromaster to service the  tyres on its 7,000-strong European trailer fleet. The deal will see ATS Euromaster’s mobile technicians provide routine inspections and follow-up maintenance work on around 1,000 DSV trailers travelling into and out of the UK every day. Norbert Dentressangle extends Vauxhall contract

Norbert Dentressangle has signed a three-year contract extension with Vauxhall Motors for the overnight distribution of parts. ND has worked with Vauxhall for 12 years and the extension sees the operator deliver parts to 300 Vauxhall and Chevrolet retailers across the UK. Wincanton builds supply chain for SuperGroup

Wincanton has revealed the full details of its warehousing contract with fashion retailer SuperGroup, which it began working on late last year. The logistics giant is part way through a two-year deal with SuperGroup to operate a distribution warehouse at Gloucester Business Park. Norbert Dentressangle (ND) has won a 10-year contract renewal with Shop Direct Group (SDG) for the warehousing of its ‘two-man delivery’ products. The logistics giant will be responsible for the receipt, inspection, picking, dispatch and returns management of products requiring two-man delivery, such as furniture and white goods. DHL Supply Chain signs £75m contract extension with BP

DHL Supply Chain has won a six-year contract extension, worth some £75m, with BP’s UK Convenience Retail business. Under the contract, DHL will provide warehousing and distribution services to BP’s 350 company-owned forecourts across the UK, handling 19 million cases per year of 1,400 product lines. DHL also provides frontline support on order and delivery queries for BP’s company owned stores. Lloyd Fraser Group has placed a 55-truck order with rental firm Ryder following a major 3PL contract win with an undisclosed fashion retailer. The order comprises 45 rigids – 16 Daf LF 7.5-tonners and 29 CF 18-tonne box trucks – which will be used on multi-drop delivery work, as well as 10 Renault Premium 44-tonne tractor units, which will be used on overnight trunking runs to the company’s five hubs. Notts-haulier Seafield Logistics has won a two and a half year contract with floor screed manufacturer Lafarge Gyvlon. The win adds to Seafield’s contract with Gyvlon to distribute its products to Ireland, which it has held since July 2011. The new contract will also see Seafield add five vehicles and trailers to its bulk tanker fleet. DHL Supply Chain has won a five-year contract with Warburtons to manage the bread-maker’s primary logistics supply chain. The deal will see DHL set up a control tower operation, based at Warburtons’ Bolton site, which will manage the distribution of up to two million loaves of bread, rolls and crumpets daily between the manufacturer’s 12 bakeries and 13 depots across the UK.
