GDPR and industry diversity are among the topics the RHA will cover at the Microlise Transport Conference in May.

The trade association will host a series of presentations around topics not covered in the conference's main agenda, hosted by director of policy and public affairs Rod McKenzie.

Clean air zones and road infrastructure spending will also be covered by the RHA's workshop area.

Chief executive Richard Burnett said: “The Microlise Transport Conference is the key date in the industry calendar for discussing the key topics and learning about the future of our industry.

“We’re pleased to be playing a role in the event and engaging with delegates on a number of important issues where the RHA is playing a role in engaging with government to represent the needs of road transport operators.”

Other speakers confirmed for the event include senior traffic commissioner Richard Turfitt and supply chain expert Richard Wilding.

TV Presenter and motoring journalist Quentin Willson (pictured) will return to the event to host the proceedings.

The conference, along with the annual Microlise Driver of the Year competition, will take place at Coventry's Ricoh Arena on 14 May.
