Jesse Norman remains minister for road freight at the DfT, as the line up of ministers and their responsibilities was finalised after Theresa May’s cabinet reshuffle.
Norman has maintained his role as minister for road freight and roads, and is also responsible for electric and autonomous vehicles; walking and cycling; and aviation, in the House of Commons.
New entry to the department Jo Johnson has been given responsibility for transport in London, as well as rail and industrial relations.
Nusrat Ghani is responsible for HS2, maritime and skills and apprenticeships while Baroness Sugg will act as shadow in the House of Lords and oversee aviation.
Chris Grayling (pictured) retained his role as secretary of state for transport in the reshuffle earlier this month, which prompted the exit of Paul Maynard and John Hayes from the department.
