CitySprint has purchased Birmingham-based Network Logistics UK, continuing its recent acquisition spree.
No vans are involved in a recall of 15,000 Renault vehicles the French manufacturer has announced as a result of recent concerns over their emission levels, a spokesman for the company has told Motortransport.com.
CitySprint has acquired all operations at Woking-based Eagle Express Worldwide Couriers. Its same-day, international and UK overnight operations were acquired by CitySprint on 8 December, taking its network to 35 depots and 2,000 couriers. It will be transferred over to the CitySprint brand later this month.
