Bibby Distribution in fast lane with Suzuki contract win

Bibby Distribution has won a contract with Suzuki to deliver all its motorcycles, marine engines and all-terrain vehicles.

Working from Suzuki’s depot in Milton Keynes, Bibby will deliver across the UK and Ireland under a three-year deal.

Bibby secured the contract after a competitive tender, for its strong reputation and its use of electronic proof of delivery and real-time tracking, which Suzuki felt would ensure high security.

Suzuki logistics operational manager Kevin Sach said: "Bibby already has an established reputation for reliability and members of our dealer network told us we can trust in Bibby Distribution to deliver without delay.”

A Bibby spokesman said: “The contract fits into Bibby Distribution’s long established motorcycle and leisure distribution network, although the size of the contract means there will be additional vehicles to accommodate the increased volume.”

Suzuki has 35 production facilities in 23 countries.
