CitySprint is recruiting 1,000 additional couriers for this year’s Christmas period to support its growing ecommerce and food delivery sectors.

The pushbike, motorcycle, car and van courier service has a network of 41 service centres and a fleet of more than 3,500.

The drive is in response to the busy Christmas period of 2016 and will help to ensure a smooth service for customers.

CitySprint CEO Patrick Gallagher said: “Peak season is one of the most demanding times of the year for our customers, with delivery volumes increasing. We are committed to providing each of our clients with a first-class service all year round."

  • CitySprint insight and innovation manager Ali Kagalwalla will be speaking at Freight in the City Expo.
