Lower fuel prices cost Elddis Transport last year, with savings passed onto customers causing a drop in turnover. FairFuelUK (FFUK) co-founder Howard Cox has said he is “absolutely disgusted” with the Labour Party’s apparent disinterest in the issue of fuel prices, after a fringe event on the subject held at the Labour Party conference in Manchester attracted just a handful of attendants.
“I’m sat looking at an old Commercial Motor cover from 2010”, says Elddis Transport MD Nigel Cook. “There’s a big picture of an Elddis truck on it with the words ‘collaboration is key to success’. Nothing has changed.”
