Former City Link regional network manager Richard Gutsell has taken on the newly created role of operations director at Palletline, just two years after joining the network as head of hubs.
In his new position, Gutsell will oversee Palletline’s hub operations, network service quality and IT infrastructure.
Palletline MD Graham Leitch said: “Richard has more than proved his mettle by helping to reshape our hub capability and take its status from fit for purpose to market-leading.
“It is the hub’s excellence that has been attractive to all the new members we have recruited in the last two years, so it was natural that following this outstanding period with the business we should reward Richard’s contribution to our collective success with a seat at the board table.”
Truswell Haulage recently moved from Palletforce to Palletline.
