Daf Trucks UK MD Ray Ashworth is to retire after 48 years in the UK truck industry.
He will be
succeeded by Robin Easton, MD of the India division of Daf parent Paccar. Easton (below) has held his position for two years and will take over the reins on 2 April.
Ashworth (above) has been MD at the truck manufacturer, which has held a 30% market share in the 6-tonnes GVW and above category, since March 2009. He was formerly fleet sales director.
Ashworthis expected to leave the company on 26 May.
