The 50 largest commercial vehicle rental and leasing businesses in the UK had more assets on their books in 2016 than the largest 100 did in 2015 – according to research conducted for the 2016 edition of CV Informer.
Published in association with ATS Euromaster, and in partnership with the BVRLA, Motor Transport’s annual state of the nation report for the UK rental and leasing sector found an industry in robust health – with in e
xcess of 500,000 trucks, vans and trailers held by the 50 largest players in the market.
Lex Autolease leads the way in the van sector, with 87,716 units; Tip Trailers tops the trailer asset list with 16,000 while Ryder leads the way in the truck market with 11,000 units, closely followed by CVL Fleet and Lex Autolease again.
