Gefco UK has appointed Zsolt Vecsera as its new MD, in a move the company said will help “continue and steer its direction of growth”.

Vecsera (pictured below) has been MD at Gefco Hungary since 2011, where he oversaw the doublingof the company’s profit over five years.

Previous to that role he was MD of Raben Logistics, and a group key director at Waberer’s Holding.

Zsolt added that he was “delighted” by the new role, “especially at such an exciting and progressive period for the company”.

Former Gefco UK MD Tristan Balayn, who Motortransport.co.uk interviewed last year, has been appointed as international development director at Gefco.
