BCA has appointed a new MD to head up its logistics operation as part of a plan to grow the division.

Dean Hulse (pictured, below) joins the company with more than 15 years of experience, having held senior roles at companies including TNT and Whistl.

The Webuyanycar.com owner last year bought Eddie Stobart’s automotive logistics business for £16m (pictured, main).

Stobart Group had purchased the business headed by Avril Palmer-Baunack in 2012.

As MD of the BCA logistics operation, Hulse will be responsible for all areas of the division’s service offerings, including vehicle inspection, collections, deliveries, as well as vehicle refurbishments and demonstrations.

Palmer-Baunack, BCA Marketplace executive chairman, said: “We continue to invest in the best talent in the industry. Dean brings a wealth of experience to this role and is well placed to bring a fresh, solution-led approach to our logistics operation.”

Hulse added: “BCA has ambitious plans for its logistics operation and it is an exciting time to join the business.

"As we continue to provide end-to-end solutions for our customers, BCA Logistics will play an important part of driving change to bring efficiency throughout the supply chain.”
