Her Royal Highhness Princess Anne will speak at this year’s Microlise Transport Conference, in her capacity as patron of transport charity Transaid.
The Princess Royal holds a category C HGV licence and is an honorary member of the RHA.
Microlise executive director Bob Harbey said: “We are honoured to welcome The Princess Royal to the Microlise Transport Conference and would like to thank Transaid for their support in inviting their Patron.
“The conference remains a place where the big issues are not only discussed and debated, but it also acts as a catalyst for change. The 2016 programme, including The Princess Royal’s contribution, is shaping up to be very exciting indeed.”
The Microlise Transport Conference will take place at Coventry’s Ricoh Arena on 18 May.
