Advanced Supply Chain has appointed former Eddie Stobart opertions director Peter Kelly as MD of its transport division.
Kelly, who has more than 20 years of experience in the industry, will work across all five of the haulier's UK sites.
Advanced Supply Chain chief executive Mike Danby said: “Peter is an important hire for Advanced Supply Chain. His expertise will be fundamental to building our market presence and developing our dynamic and strong team within the transport division.
Danby said: “Peter’s impressive track record for improving transport operations will be a hugely positive factor in maintaining our high level service for clients, whilst further strengthening performance.”
Last year the company reported a 44% drop in pre-tax profit for the year ended 30 June 2014, although its turnover marginally increased to £31.6m (2014: £31.9m).
