Panther Warehousing has inked a deal with window and door manufacturer Euramax Solutions to deliver its products on behalf of major DIY retailers including Wickes and Screwfix.

Euramax awarded Northampton-based Panther the contract with the aim of reducing its carbon footprint, improving the supply chain and lowering its outlay.

Under the deal Panther, which specialises in providing one and two-man deliveries, will deliver around 280 consignments for Euramax each week, operating from within Euramax’s factory to reduce the manufacturer’s carbon footprint.

Nick Burton, purchasing manager of Euramax Solutions, said: “As a leading UK uPVC window and door manufacturer, maintaining the highest standard of service in everything we do is critical.

"We set ourselves very ambitious targets of delivering on time, in full with zero defects and Panther’s service and the way they control the materials is unparalleled.  It really is proving to be a perfect partnership for both businesses.”

Nick added: “Since joining forces with Panther, we have seen many improvements to the business, including full visibility of what’s being delivered to the customer’s door – which previously Euramax didn’t have."

Panther opened a Bristol hub last month.
